Posted Date: 11/10/25 (9:01 AM)

Boonville Schools are proud to honor our nation’s heroes through special activities and events.
Boonville High School and BTEC will host their annual Veterans Day Breakfast and Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11. Breakfast for Veterans and their guests will be served from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, followed by a ceremony at 9:00 AM in partnership with the Hannah Cole Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. If you are unable to attend in person but would like to view the program, here is a live link: https://bhs.bpsk12.net/live-events
At Hannah Cole Primary, students are creating patriotic artwork for the BHS ceremony, and second graders will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The school’s Veterans Flag is also on display.
David Barton Elementary recently hosted “A Write to Remember” on Nov. 6, in partnership with HomeWorks! Veterans of DBE students were invited to a dinner, a special assembly, and family activities in honor of their service.
At Laura Speed Elliott Middle School, students are creating a giant American flag from handwritten messages and stars that express gratitude and respect for those who have served.
We are grateful for our veterans and proud of the ways our students are learning to show appreciation for their service.
