Welcome to Boonville High School!

I am very proud and excited to be the principal at Boonville High School for the 2021-22 school year. This is my 15th year working in education, and while it’s my first year as principal at BHS, this will be my 9th year as a building level principal. I love my job as a principal! I get to work alongside great teachers, students, and families every day.

As an educator, I have taught social studies, Advanced Placement US History, personal finance, and even a little geometry. In addition, I was afforded the opportunity to coach both softball and track. I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and earned my master’s degree in educational leadership and public policy from Mizzou. I’m also currently completing my educational specialist’s degree from Mizzou.

As an educator, I feel blessed to have many diverse experiences in urban education, rural education, and even Catholic education. Each of these experiences formed my intrinsic motivation that all students deserve a quality education. I fiercely believe in the ability of all children to learn, the inherent dignity of each person, and the desire for everyone to achieve success.

As a school leader, I hope you find me focused on building relationships for the betterment of our school community. Parents, you send your most valuable treasures to school each day, thank you for entrusting us with your students. What an awe-inspiring responsibility!

Away from school, I’m an avid Notre Dame fan, “Go Irish!” and love cheering for the Chiefs. I’m also a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. And, when you cannot find me in town, I’m likely at the lake with a book in my hand.I hope to meet each of you at school events, concerts, ball games, and any other BHS event. Please never hesitate to reach out if you have a question, concern, or a recommendation. Together we will always work to make the best educational decisions for your students.
